Güvenli Turizm Sertifikası'nın Yerli Turistlerin Risk Algılarına ve Seyahat Davranışlarına Etkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırma yerli turistlerin Güvenli Turizm Sertifikasına yönelik düşünceleri ile algılanan risk ve davranışsal niyetlerini ölçmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden yararlanılmış ve veri toplama aracı olarak da anket tekniği uygulanmıştır. 15 Aralık 2021- 15 Ocak 2022 tarihleri arasında 324 katılımcıdan elde edilen veriler değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Araştırma verileri SPSS 15 programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, Güvenli Turizm Sertifikasına yönelik algının risk algısını etkilediği bulunmuştur. Bir diğer sonuç olan risk algısının kişilerin turizme katılmaya yönelik davranışsal niyetlerini etkilediği yönündeki sonuçla aynı yöndedir. Çalışmanın temel sonucu ise Güvenli Turizm Sertifikası’nın risk algısını ve davranışsal niyetleri etkilediği yönündeki sonuçtur. Güvenli turizm sertifikasının risk algısını düşürdüğü ve düşük risk algısıyla birlikte kişilerin turizm faaliyetlerine katılmasını desteklediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmanın diğer bir sonucu ise, turistlerin risk algısının turizme katılmaya yönelik davranışsal niyetlerini etkilediği yönündedir. Ayrıca kadınların Covid 19 pandemi sürecinde konaklama tesislerinde konaklamayı erkeklere göre daha riskli gördükleri sonucuna varılmıştır. Diğer yandan araştırmada yakın zamanda tatil yapmayı planlayan bireylerin diğerlerine göre konaklama yapmayı daha az riskli gördüğü bulunmuştur.

Abstract

This research was conducted to measure the thoughts and perceived risk and behavioral intentions of domestic tourists towards safe tourism certification. Quantitative research methods were used in the research and the questionnaire technique was used as a data collection tool. Data obtained from 324 participants between 15 December 2021 and 15 January 2022 were evaluated. Research data were analyzed with SPSS 15 program. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the perception towards the Safe Tourism Certificate affected the risk perception. Another result is in the same direction as the result that risk perception affects the behavioral intentions of people to participate in tourism. The main result of the study is the conclusion that the Safe Tourism Certificate affects risk perception and behavioral intentions. It has been concluded that the safe tourism certificate reduces the risk perception and supports the participation of people in a tourism activities with low risk perception. Another result of the research is that the risk perception of tourists affects their behavioral intention to participate in tourism. In addition, it was concluded that women consider staying in accommodation facilities more riskly than men during the Covid 19 pandemic process. On the other hand, it was found in the study that individuals who plan to take a vacation in the near future see accommodation as less risky than others.
