Abstract
Bu çalışma, sürdürülebilir turizm çerçevesinde turist rehberlerinin ekoturizm faaliyetlerindeki rolünü incelemektedir. Turizm sektörünün çevresel, ekonomik ve sosyo-kültürel sürdürülebilirliğe katkı sağlaması giderek daha fazla önem kazanmakta olup, ekoturizm bu bağlamda öne çıkan bir turizm türü olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Turist rehberleri, ekoturizm faaliyetlerinde sadece bilgi aktaran kişiler değil, aynı zamanda çevre bilincini artıran, yerel kültürü tanıtan ve sürdürülebilir turizm uygulamalarını teşvik eden aktörlerdir. Bu kapsamda yapılan araştırmada, Karadeniz Bölgesi’nde faaliyet gösteren turist rehberlerinin ekoturizm alanındaki deneyimlerini, çevresel farkındalık düzeylerini ve sürdürülebilir turizm uygulamalarına yaklaşımlarını anlamak amacıyla nitel bir yöntem benimsenmiştir. Çalışmada, 10 turist rehberiyle derinlemesine mülakatlar gerçekleştirilmiş ve elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz yöntemiyle değerlendirilmiştir.

Abstract
This study examines the role of tourist guides in ecotourism activities within the framework of sustainable tourism. The contribution of the tourism sector to environmental, economic and socio-cultural sustainability is becoming increasingly important, and ecotourism is considered a prominent type of tourism in this context. Tourist guides are not only people who provide information in ecotourism activities, but also actors who increase environmental awareness, introduce local culture and encourage sustainable tourism practices. In this context, a qualitative method was adopted in the study conducted in order to understand the experiences of tourist guides operating in the Black Sea Region in the field of ecotourism, their environmental awareness levels and their approaches to sustainable tourism practices. In the study, in-depth interviews were conducted with 10 tourist guides and the obtained data were evaluated using the descriptive analysis method.
