Abstract
Bu çalışmada, Anıtkabir ziyaretçilerinin ziyaret deneyimlerini keşfetmek amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı doğrultusunda, Anıtkabir Komutanlığı tarafından yayımlanan ziyaretçi mektupları/notları ele alınmış ve 41 ziyaretçiye ait ifadeler içerik analiziyle incelenmiştir. İçerik analizi ile ziyaretçi yorumları üç boyutta temalandırılmıştır; “duygusal deneyim”, “bilişsel deneyim” ile “sosyal/kültürel deneyim”. Söz konusu boyutlar için alt kategoriler oluşturulmuştur. Duygusal deneyim teması altında ortaya çıkan kategoriler; “gurur”, “hayranlık”, “sevgi”, “bağlılık”, “minnet”, “özlem”, “saygı”, “hüzün”, “mutluluk” ve “takdir” olarak adlandırılmıştır. Sosyal/kültürel deneyim teması altında oluşturulan kategoriler; “ulusal kimlik bilinci”, “kolektif miras”, “toplumsal sorumluluk” ve “toplumsal eşitlik farkındalığı” olarak adlandırılmıştır. Bilişsel deneyim temasında ise tek kategori çıkmış ve bu da “tarihsel farkındalık” olarak adlandırılmıştır. Analiz sonucunda, Anıtkabir ziyaretçilerinin en çok duygusal deneyim yaşadıkları görülmüştür. Bu bulgular ışığında, Anıtkabir ziyaret deneyimlerinin çok boyutlu yapısı detaylandırılmış, ayrıca bu deneyimlerin ziyaretçiler gözünde hem bireysel hem toplumsal düzeyde nasıl anlamlandırıldığı ortaya konulmuştur.

Abstract
This study focuses on the visitor experiences at Anıtkabir. To achieve this objective, visitor letters and remarks issued by the Anıtkabir Command were scrutinized, and statements from 41 visitors were subjected to content analysis. The investigation identified three primary elements of visitor experience: emotional, cognitive, and social/cultural experiences. Subcategories were delineated for each dimension. The categories under the theme of emotional experience were designated as pride, admiration, love, commitment, gratitude, longing, respect, sadness, happiness, and appreciation. The criteria delineated within the social/cultural experience theme included national identity awareness, communal heritage, social responsibility, and consciousness of social equality. Within the theme of cognitive experience, one category evolved, designated as historical awareness. The findings reveal that visitors predominantly encountered emotional aspects throughout their visits. This discovery indicates that visitors establish profound emotional connections with the site. These findings elucidate the multifaceted nature of the Anıtkabir visitor experience, demonstrating how visitors perceive these events on both personal and societal levels.
